MTSU Academic Credit for the TAA Experience
Participants in the Tennessee Arts Academy may request to enroll in a graduate course to receive academic credit for their participation and engagement in the learning experience. Graduate coursework will be on an independent study basis supervised by a member of the MTSU faculty.

Process
- Participants should contact Dr. Vannatta-Hall to express interest in receiving academic credit. In your email, please indicate your TAA program area.
- Dr. Vannatta-Hall will connect participants to the Faculty of Record for the course.
- Once participants and faculty have agreed on requirements for completing the course, participants must be admitted to the MTSU College of Graduate Studies.
- Participants will be provided with a Course Registration Number (CRN) and must pay associated MTSU tuition (3 credits) and fees directly to MTSU. What does it cost?
- On Sunday evening at the start of the TAA experience, participants will meet with Dr. Vannatta-Hall for a brief orientation session. Details will be provided at a later date.
